New York, Sept. 4.
The United States Defence Commission and purchasing agencies of ihe United States Army and Navy have worked out with manufacturers an arrangement whereby Britain will receive an average of 700 United States fighting planes a month over the next 20 months, reports the Washington correspondent of the "New York Sun."
This will mean that, counting the planes already under construction, the British Government could buy a total of 14000 planes by April 1942 if desired.—Reuter.
