London, Sept.
The British blockade of those French Colonies which have declared their attachment to the free French Empire has been lifted, according to an announcement issued by the headquarters of General Charles de Gaulle, head of the French National Committee in London.
The communique says: "Once more they breathe freely under the protection of free French forces and their Allies."
Expressing the conviction that the movement will extend rapidly to all French people overseas, the communique adds: "Resolve, initiative, rapid decision and fierce energy never had opened to them a more magnificent chance to be employed on behalf of the Motherland."—Reuter
