Club Roof drew a record number of diners and dancers, until the last lonely table in the dim distance was filled.
Host at a large party was Mr. L. R. Schinazi, while another long table was set for the dinner given by Mr. F. Schick for Mrs. R. T. McDonnell, who also left Shanghai in the President Coolidge.
Mr. Shick's guests included Mr. and Mrs. McDonnell Mr. and Mrs. Eric Petersen, Mrs. W. H. Gardiner, Miss Winc'a Tomaszevska, Mr. Horace Smith, Professor O. Pribran, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Rodger.
