Berlin, July 4.
Bat weather conditions and "snow storms around Lwow" are hampering Nazi troops operating in south-east Poland, according to a statement issued by the official German news agency last night.
The statement emphasizes at the same time the "obstinate" resistance of Soviet troops on this front.
The claims made by the agency include:
30 Soviet tanks annihilated in the fighting for Dubno, eastern Poland, by a unit which destroyed 40 tanks on Wednesday.
Land forces advancing along the Baltic coast destroyed or captured 631 tanks, 168 heavy and light guns, and 40 planes up to July 1.
German bombers brought down 52 Soviet planes in the Bialystok area on Wednesday, while 97 were destroyed on the ground.
An armoured train and five troop trains were destroyed in attacks on supply columns.
