The view that the Eastern Group Supply Council is being recognized as a composite instrument for the common good of the group, and that attention had already been given to the future, when collaboration invitiated for war might be continued in peace, was expressed by MSA. Hydari, representative for India on the Bastern Group Supply Council, speaking at a luncheon yesterday, "Mr. Hyari said that the Supply Council was enabling India to plan her war production by means of demands spread over reasonably long periods of time. It was giving her opportunities for new production which she could take up if it were considered worth-while.
Speaking of India's war effort, he said that India was producing three-fourths of the articles included in the term "requirements of the forces."
Mr, Hydari also mentioned that the Council thought the Indian supply effort massive and. im range and variety unsürpasied by any country of any group.
He added that the "one concern of the moment should be not what we ere getting from the war, but whether we are doing all we cam to help finish it soon and successfully.'—Reuter.
