Chief Attraction

The chief attraction on the programme of mine game will natually be the Texaco's match against the Buccaneers which will be pláyed at the Race Course, ground No, 1. Though the former were able to emerge victorious in their previous meeting, the general concensus of opinion is that the result will be reversed this time, The Texaco have slumped somewhat since their conspicuous opefiing and have had more thin one black mark chalked up against them. The Buccaneers, on the other hand, have shown immense improvement.

The Columbia Country Club should 9 not find much difficulty in their game against the Saint Francis Xavier boys who will, visit their ground today. The Collgians have failed to show any form of consequence so far, with the result that they are ridw in the cellar position of the league standings. Though the squad ci of a number of keen end enthusiastic players, they are yet inexperiéfieéd and rather erratic,

Columbians, on the contrary, have u€—in their batting The proved themselves to be a formidable unit and the substantiation of this as their as yet unbeaten record.
