French Ports Bombed

British planes bombed a row of storehouses and ships in the harbour at Lorient early yesterday, states the Air Ministry News Service, which adds that the pilots could tell by explosions that they had found their igh "explosives and incendiaries were dropped by coastal command planes among ships at Rotterdam. Over the French port of Gravelines a red glare lit up the sky after one other attack had started great fires.

A pilot who attacked Lorient stated that he had to fly through the biggest display of flaming onions he had ever seen, adding that once or twice he could have sworn his wing tips were on fire.
