Handball Tournament is fast coming to a close and from the manner in which play has been conducted during the past month or so there seems to be little doubt that the loca! singles champion, F. Tchakalian, will run away with the title. He has already played eight series and won them all, some with consummate ease Some surprise has been occasioned by the failure to gain even one victory of M. Tchakalian who, a few years ago, was considered one of the finest performers' of this city. He still has time to make considerable headway in the table but it is almost impossible for him, on' his present standard of play, to expect to reach more than the half-way mark.
M. Gaberman and A. Wurm, two clever exponents of the handball game, will probably be near the top.
