Soviet reports of the. destruction of 10 German Pahzer divisions during the past six weeks of fighting was striking evidence of the ferocity of the war raging along the entire Russian frontier, and military experts believed yesterday that losses would prevent the Germans from renewing their campaign with anything like -the Striking power hitherto employed.
The 10 panzer divisions constituted two more divisions than the entire armoured force the Germans threw into the Battle of Flanders. in which the Germans forced their famous break-through with only two armoured divisions.
According to informed quarters the German campaign force consists of 22 armoured divisions. If ten have been destroyed already, or so badly mauled that their repair will take a considerable time, it was considered here that the much ad-Vertised "third blitz wave" against Russia will not develop anything of the first two assaults. approaching the striking power
