The picture should have been out long ago, but the Hays office censors stepped on some of its scenes. They objected to "vulgar body displays," a phrase covering a raft of cinematic Zins, same referring to revealing shots of Jane's bust. Whether these scenes were remade or deleted has become a sort of state secret, but the Hays seal of approval is not given to pictures which fail to fully comply with the tenets of the moral code.
Jane has a striking figure, and the Hughes press agents have been using her picture to sell the movie, a strange but Hollywood-like procedure, since "The Outlaw" is about Billy the Kid and his law-breaking explo!
Jane willingly posses at army camps and naval bases, on tennis courts and archery ranges, with airplanes and dogs, and she has done little else for the last several months.
