Eden Says Allied Victory Certain

London, June 13.

"However long or arduous, harsh or chequered the course of this war may be, no one in this country doubts that the final victory will be ours: it is certain and will be decisive," Mr. Anthony Eden, British Foreign Secretary, told Latin America in a broadcast early this morning.

"The superiority of the individual British sailor, soldier and airman over his German or Italian opponent", he said, "has already been established. The Battle of Britain in which, between July and November of last year, the Royal Air Force defeated the most determined endeavours of the Luftwaffe, which is numerically greatly its superior, is but a single instance of this.
