Sm.—I am a constant reader of this paper, and enjoy reading the "Letters to the Editor" column. have been keeping on with the news of the world, and have read that U.S.A. is about to enter into war sooner or later. If she really does.

As the men are mostly called to arms, the women of America are assigned to all the important works of the military office, but there are some small "fry" about in Shanghai and other countries. whose fathers are American citizens and whose mothers are Chinese, but it a that some are not registered in the American Consulate, in which case they cannot be classed &s Americans. But I'm sure they are very anxious to join the American Ip able to do so because of their being non-1 "fry" I believe, consist mostly of business girls like myself. Is there any way that we could be of any help? Or would someone some way for us to join in the.volunteer works? Would appreciate an answer from any read.
