Mohawk Road e ONE.
From the above it will be seen that increase is 100 per cent. is 165 per cent and not 65 per cent as announced by the Bus Company.
It was well known io the public that the bus fares were increased to 65 per cent only on July 15, 1941, and that the increase was approved by the Council on the recommendation of the Special Committee.
I wonder if the Council and the special Committee have any knowledge of the above-mentioned charges. In case the new charges have been submitted to the Special Committee for approval. then why has the Committee fixed the increase at 66 per cent? Or is the Bus Company trying to hoodwink the public?
