Sm—None of your readers should miss the picture on page 8 of No. (Volume 1) of "Shanghai Calling a somewhat, pathetic little journal produced by Goebbels's locally-paid liars, who by the way, would hardly, judging from their syntax, qualify for inge compensation "he picture shows a quiet stretch of giver, crossed by a railway bridge Of two spans; exactly above the sui port between the two spans is a sati factory burst of smoke which: s evidently doing the bridge no good; the photo is taken from the river bank about 80 yards downstream from the bridge. The wording gives the impression that this is a hit by an aerial bomb on a bridge on the Russian front. and conclude "That's mark-manship to you!" Boy oh boy! What marksmanship. And what o ganization! No doubt if the editor's ips were unsealed he could explain how come the photographer managed to be in the perfect spot for taking ihe picture, with his camera set up just in line with the expected burst of the bomb, on a no doubt heavily guarded railway bridge inside the Russian lines. I am sure he could explain the feat of communication whereby the camera man hung his flm on to a brace of glider carrier pigeons belonging to one of Goebbels's mobile pigeon bases: transferred thence to Shanghai by Stratospheric Jimmy Crickets to be exchange ed for one of those cups of tea with "which German merchants here are said to be so well provided, now that the Trans-Siberian line is in Russian hands again. In fact, the editor evidently believes that anyone daft enough to" take his magazine seriously is-fool enough to swallài an; No doubt he's zieht; A picture of a raft for crossing rivers under fire (page 23) is also worth glancing at. This is a picture of the well-known—river-cross Goering raft. Some say the raft was so called because it is guaranteed nor to cross the Channel; others maintain that the name derives from the inflated rubber bag on which it is supported.
Allied aclers are reminded that they accep; as much free German literature s Mr. Fritz Cordt's competent mailing staff will' send them; the literature should be turned over.to Mr. Evans's waste paper fund, and the R.AF. will guarantee redelivery (o Germany free of all charge.

Sm—I feel much unhappy for walk to office in this morning. I think $50 they wish me to make health because I have pay to the Bus Ca.
exercise to walk all way to office. They say (I think so) good exercise io walk—you pay $50 one month for good physical education of the body. Physical education is good medicine for make your stomach reduction, and vitamin ous health for all the body.
I hear all bus men say Bus Ca. very clever. They make strike—bus stay home. so no use gas for running engine. This is very clever. All Chinese workmen in Bus Ca. was very misfortunated because I have know they make very much money More better me. Every body say bus men very poor, I never think true. They make much money in wages. and much plus for squeeze. I think very good idea for bus manager to make advertising to public newspaper say they make much money so all Chinese passenger not help them much squeeze. They not make squeeze, maybe Bus Ca. make more plenty income. Maybe after we not pay so much more increase, Last time high water on Vu Yuen Road bus not driving Vu Yuen Road, I pay much money for rickshaw, because may be Bus Ca. fear water make wet the bus, so we people live in the Vu Yuen Road not possible fo ride in the bus for go to office—five days no riding the bus. Now strike maybe 1 weeks, or two weeks, but I think Bus Ca. not pay back part season pass money. This is all same bad business for me. After strike finish because company have pay more money to workmen, we are happy for "strike finish, but again after. passed two months Bus Ca. again say lose much money, must be increase again $75 but bus men only increase wages $2 maybe $3 so they again strike No. 2. This way no can finish. I not forget baseball playman say: Ball 4—you Walk. just now Bus Ca. make Strike One—we walk. Very funny. Maybe after sometime Bus Ca. make Strike No. 3. everybody out. Very hard for we people. Poor man not riding the bus. Rich man riding the molar cars. They never sorry for us. We. not rich and not ery poor must be very sorry for.
You must be very regret for u: so please Mr. Editor I thank yo for making this appear to the public in your newspaper. maybe some man write more better for me.
