Mr. Sowrmwr save. it is best soon aking of the Ha

Z"kww. but I think he must mean Haining or places further up the coast. T remember in February, 1981, the Into Dr. J. M. Blain kindly took me with him the two hours" bus ride o that place, where we had the luck to see the best Bore. he told me. to that he had seen out of forty occa. sions! On arrival at the embank ment the muddy river was running out swiftly a good 20 feet below where we stood. After waiting more than an hour the huge wave could be seen approaching with an awe-inspiring roar. and when it raced past us I reckoned it was only two feet from the top. though it subsided shout six feet. Dr. Blain said that if lucky. we might see a second wave. about 20 minutes Tater a high black wave appeared without a breaking crest, which seemed to he coming on several feet higher than the ton of the embankment where we were standing. Actually rushed by well over the top, drench-mr me to the waist on a bitterly cold day. because I had not been quick enough mounting a second bank. built back from the first. evidently to prevent this second wave, which is apparently rather rare. from swamping the s the town. Two other visits to the Rore have been very disappointing by camnarison.

Mr. SowrnsY speaks of crickets, and does not mention the sport of cricket-fighting in which the Chinese clans, poets and philosophers, we are a nation of our own, a nation ha: given the world the ten ments, the Bible, the prophets, not to say Einstein, Ehrlich a hundred other prominent Jews. One thing I want to state is, when the Viennese University was a real Mecca for the students ofthe whole" world, then that was only on account of the Jewish professors like Neuman, Hayek, and so on.

allowed to say there was no ci As a Viennese-born boy I merit Germany where people had such a strong anti-Jewish feeling as in Vienna.

The Jewish-feeling Jews, and that is the biggest part of the refugees, the youth 100 per cent, have no pro-German, and no anti-British, but ally of England, willing to spent final ry over our common everything, even our lives for the

enemy.

All we want England to do is "Give us a chance," she hasn't done it up now.
