The 160 striking employees of the Aquarius Ca. managed by Messrs. Caldbeck. Macgregor & Ca., Ltd. at 400 Thorburn Road, will resume work tomorrow morning. The dispute was settled yesterday when the management agreed to increase their hich cost of living allowance by $10. The workers, it may be recalled, struck at 1 pin. on Wednesday.
There was no change in the other labour disputes in the city and the strikers numbered among them the employees of Messrs. G. E. Marden Ca, local colour printing shops, electric supply shops and a Chinese transportation company. The pay dispute at the Insurance Company of North America is being negotiated and a settlement is expected in the near future.
