I note that Lieut-General Digby Barker, C.B, who has recently been appointed Military Governor of the Bermudas; is to leave England for his new post early next month, There is a portrait of the genial little general in a recent issue of Blu and him as very much younger than he realy White, which, while issable, depicts looks. 'I imagine this must have been taken when the gallant officer was only a major. General Barker has selected as his assistant
O. D. Hickman of the Royal Inniskilling Military Secretary and A.D.C., aod Fusiliers, who is not unknown to fame here in the annals of the Victoria Recreation Club. I-rather wonder General Barker did not come in for recognition when the birthday honours were bestowed.
