Board, the Hon. F. H. May, as the oldest yesterday's eating of the Sanitary member of the Board, in 3 highly complimentary speech, moved a resolution express sing the great regret of the Sanitary Board at losing the services of Mr. N. J. Ede, and conveying the Board's very great appreciation of the valuable assistance he had rendered during the many years (some 13) he has unselfishly devoted himself to the cause of sanitation in the Colony. The President (Dr. Atkinson) cordially seconded this resolution which was carried unanimously. Mr. Ede replied very feelingly, saying that he should leave the Board with infinite regret, and hoped to hear from time to time that of the Colony were meeting with unqualified success.
