I hear that the China Fire Insurance Company, Limited, will declare a dividend of $6.75, and increase their Reserve Fund to a million dollars, which means an addition of more than a lakh.
The Hongkong Fire Insurance will also, Tlearn, show a capital report.
The Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Company will exhibit good results ofthe years working and aire an increased dividend, or 5} per cent instead of 5 per cent as last year.
The China Suger Refining Company will lieable to pay an in dividend, but nothing has yet been decided, and I don't know that the accounts have been made up. But the Company has done very well in spite of competition.
The Hongkong Hotel Ca. will again report progress and declare a dividend, probably of 8 per cent, for the half-year.
The Indo-China S. N. Company will also be in a position to give a dividend for the past year, and, I hope, write off something substantial on the value of the fleet. Last there was nothing to divide.
The Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Ca., A., will again have an excellent report to present to shareholder. This Company has and has written its property down to so now had such along ran of good business
