Under this heading there is bardly anything to record this week, the only arrival being that of the British battleship Ocean, which arrived yesterday from Weihaiwei; while the solitary departure was that of the French flagship Amiral Charrier on the 24th instant for Saigon. There are now four large British men-of-war in the anchorage, viz., the Ocean, Albion, Isis, and Argonaut, which constitute quite a pretty squadron in themselves. They will doubtless soon be followed by other vessels from the North.
