The start saw Delegate with a lead, but he wus soon overtaken by Laureate who ran into first place, while Shut-El-Arab tox third. They entered the back straight in this order, with Rosebud in fourth place. Laureate was still wheal as they passed the Movument, with Shut-El-Arab second, and Rosebud third. Adonis was coming up however, for Mr. Meyerink was all he was worth. He had gained strongly ax they came into the straight and from that point the issue was between and Shut-El-Avab. Adonis got a lead, however, xnd held it, eventually winning by half a length. Two lengths separated second and third.—Time, mins.
