The Night Classes

To the Editor of the "Nonra-Comma Dany News."

Sii,—May I bog a little corner of your valuable space to correct an impression which seems to have gone round that the Night Classes advertised in your columns last week are exclusively for the young? It is, of course, hoped that the evening work will be availed of by large numbers of the young of both sexes, but it is by no means desired to confine assistance to them. Ifthe staff can give help to any rosident, that resident will be welcome to all the good he can derive. His hair may bess white as toy onn, Ihave census: students in evening classes in New York. The motto of all concerned in this now venture will be: "The greatest good of the greatest number," of whatever ago.

1 may add, as an encouragement to such as hang back till somebody else has taken the plunge, that the outlook so far is quite satisfactory. This much is certain, that it is our intention to go through the wholezsession from start to finish whether we have two students or two hundred.
