Wedding Bells

A very interesting wedding was celebrated on Thursday morning last at Christ Church, in the Settlement, the contracting parties being Miss Ashweil of the C.M.S., Ningpo, and the W. J. Wallace of the same Mission, Taichow. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Moule assisted by the Rev. A. J. Walker, and was witnessed by a great number of friends. The Church been prettily decorated with plants and flowers. After the service a reception was held at the C. M. College, the Rev. and Mrs. W. Moule acting as host and hostess.

The sume day farewells were said to "The Rev and Mrs. A, J. Walker who are leaving China for a brief furlough. It is not probable that the Ningpo com-inanity will have the pleasure of welcoming them back as residents, as they will return to live either in Shaoshing or Shanghai. Tt would be " Gtuse of sincere pleasure to his imirers if Shanghai had to secure the services of Mr. Walker. What would a loss to Ningpo would undoubtedly be great zain to the Model Settlement.
