To the Editor of the "Norta-Cuina Dalny News."
Sir,—In your yesterday's issue under the above heading - you add "no place for women and children," and much else which would deter people from travelling to Peitaiho.
I think that the information given by the American Consul-General at Tientsin must have taken a long time to reach you. The conditions which he described did exist some time ago, but are now removed sufficiently to allow a fairly good service of ordinary trains to gun and in addition special trains are ruinning to cope with the rush of visitors to Pei-taiyo. Such a train leaves Tientsin to-morrow at 10 a.m. (telegram just received) and my children, with their grandmother, travel on it.
