A Wuchang dispatch reports that the wine manufacturers of the sub-prefectural city of Ch'ichou, Hupeh province, their doors and stopped on wine, to in the payment of the War Indemnity. It is further stated that the situation is regarded as serious and that riots are feared.
H. E. Tuan Fang, Governor-designate of Hunan province, according to a Soochow dispatch, is not pected to leave thst city for Shanghai, en route, until stter the Ist proximo.
