The Minister of Finance again informally approached the Sextuple group yesterday, with a view to the resumption of the loan negotiations. Hoe was informed that the question could not be discussed whilst the other negotiations were proceeding in London, whereupon the Minister promised to instruct the Chinese Minister in London to refrain from signing the final agreement and to refuse to accept payments under the contract dated August 30,
