The arrangements have been made on lines which are now familiar, with the result that our defenders are ouabed to experience some of the dizn'ty and interest of campaigning, while enjoying most if not all the comforts of howe, electric light included. The sleeping qu"rters are arranged on the platform of what used to be the Rifle Butts railw"y station. There are two long matsheds for the non-commissioned officers and men, another not quite so long for the officers, and the waiting rooms of the stations have been furbished up, breton windows repaired etc.. into quarters for the commandant. The orderly room is a spacious shed at the entrance tothe sort of compound f.rmed by the sheds, On the range proper a very large mess shed has been erected, with a canteen adjoining, and here extensive stores have been collected, to ensure no possibilities of bult rations.
