Kuangsi province is reported, to have resolved to depute three officials, who are supposed to be returned students from France, to Anam for the purpose of negotiating with the Governor there concerning the extradition of Chinese anti-monarchists who sre reported to abound in that Colony.
ANTI-MONARCHISM, is reported from Nanking that, in view of the rumours to the effect that rifles and ammunition are being smuggled into the country through foreign agents by anti-monarchists, Viceroy Tuan Fang has instructed all the authorities of the Imperial Maritime Customs along the Yangtze to exercise strict supervision over all steamers coming from foreign countries.
