Victoria Nursing Home—Having roference to the additional buildings which will be required in the extension of the syatom, the Council haa decided upon the work of the Home and Municipal hospital immediate——, of Cadastral lot 983, scheduled for acquisition on the northeast corner of the site. Negotiations have been concluded with the registered owners, Messrr, Algar and Beesley, for the purchase of the lot at the rate of Tis, 4,250 per mow, the area being about Mow 2.725.
