The British Squadron

There are already unmistakable signs that the admirably timely advent of the English Squadron has done. not a little to dispel the gloom and depression which settled over this country upon the a nouncement of the result of the Portsmouth conference. Not unnaturally. intense enthusiasm is manifested in Kobe, Yokohama, and Tokio.
