The Ministry of Bdueation hes recommended ta: the: Throne, and on record the names of the fall persons as suitable to fill at any time such poste in that Ministry as Deputy Vice-Presidents, or Counciliors:—Obang Ho-lin, Commissioner of Education, or Literary Chancellor for Fengtien; Mao Ch'ing-fen, Commissioner of Education for Kiangsu (in 1003 Director of the Kiangosn Arsenal and subsequently Taotai of Yungting Intendancy of Chibli}; Olub Hog yung, Commissioner of Education for Ché- kiang; Huayg Shao-chi, for Hupeh; Wa Ch'ing-yuen, for Huuao; and Liu Ting-spon, for Shensi. In addition to the above are also the names of two Expee taut Taotais—Tai Chan-cheng and Yusn Obia-kd.
