The Council recommends that the following rates, taxes, dues and fees be levied.
Land Taz at the rate of 6/L0ths of one per cent, on the assessed values from renters of land within the limits of the Settlement, from January last payable half-yearly in advance. payable quarterly in advance.
6 per cent, on the assessed rentals of houses beyond Settlement limits, under provision of the agreement of 1,°1905, with the Shanghai Waterworks Ca.. La.. from the vecupants, from January 1 last, payable quarterly in advance.
