At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Good Roads Movement of China which was held on Monday, officers were elected for the~coming year. They were as follows:—Dr. C. T. Wang, president; Dr. P. W. Kuo and Mr. Bernard Firth, vice-presidents Mr. K. P. Chen,.treasurer; Mr. G. E. Sokoleky> Hon. secretary Miss GretcHen M. Fitkin, publicity director.
The survey committee was authorized to make a survey of a road to run from Shanghai to Nanking and also of another from Shanghai to Hangchow, and an appropriation has been set aside for this purpose.
Dr. Wang has not yet returned from Peking where he has gone on business.
