The local Korean Provisional Government has sent the following telegram to Mr. Lloyd George, the sécretaty for Foreign Affairs, and the British Parliament opposing renewal of the Anglo-Japanese Treaty AngloJapanese Treaty has been a disappointment to the people and gove ment of Korea_ since its formation. Twenty million Karen people strongly oppose the renewal of the Treaty in any form that would affect Korean rights. We appeal to you for peace of the Far East and the world.
