RICSHA MISSION

To the Editor of the "Nontu-Cunwa Dat News."

SIR,—Many friends of the Ricsha Mission have during the past week made anxious inquiries concerning the welfare of the Mission, Such friends and others interested will be pleased to learn that so far the Drevailing unsettled conditions have not in any way affected the work.

Meetings in the halls and open have been held as usual with the usual large audiences, among which not a single dissentient voice has been heard. Many of the rics} pullers have been endangered by ma-Hicious strikers assaulting passengers occupying their rieshas, but seem to have taken it all es a matter of course as far as they themselves are The policy adopted by the Mission has been to insti deeply as possible the right ciple rather than to inveigh against the wrong and the methods sot have been found successful. One text for many a lesson has been "Blessed are the Peace Makers."

T am, ete, GEORGE MATHESON, Founder and Hon. Director.
