Rangers F. C. v. The Navy

On Saturday afternoon the Navy sprang a surprise on the Rangers by defeating them to the tune of 6-2. They deserved to win, on their excellent display, but hardly by so big a margin, as the play was fairly even and not as the score would tend to show. The Rangers were undoubtedly off colour, mis-kicking being very frequent; in fact, two of the six goals registered against them were scored by their backs in attempting to clear.
