London, Feb. 16.
Forty British aeroplanes repeated a raid on Ostend and the Belgian coast and completed the havoc made at the last visit.
Later.
It is officially stated that bombs were also dropped on transport wagons on the Ostend-Ghistelles road, on the locks at Zeebrugge, on the barges outside Blankenbergh, UN
553 and on the trawlers outside Zee-urge.
Eight French aeroplanes assisted the British naval machines by vigorously attacking the Ghistelles aerodrome, thus effectively preventing German aircraft intercepting our machines.
The Admiralty adds that instructions are always issued to confine attacks to points of military importance and every effort is made by flying officers to avoid dropping bombs on residential quarters.
