Prepared to Retinquish Along Very Definite Lines Nanking, Oct. 2.
In connection with the question of the abolition of extraterritori ity, it is reported that the new Japanese Minister, Mr. Saburi, has formed Minister of Foreign ' Affa Dr. C. 'T. Wang, to the effect while Tokyo is prepared to relinquish this special privilege enjoyed by Japanese nationals in China, it nevertheless insists upon relinai ment by stages, first in the interior, then in the Treaty ports and finally in the foreign concessions, In view of the fact that the programme of the Kuomintang calls for the abolition of extraterr' ity by the end of the ye predicted that Sino-Japanese relations will prove a difficult question in the immediate future—Kuo Min.
