Lighters Seized

Detachments of the Peace' Preservation Corps in the ex-German area to-day seized lighters loaded with Japanese military supplies from Tangku, including trucks.

It was reported late this morning that the Chinese troops were in complete control of the West and Central stations and had occupied all the area between the East Station and the International Bridge. Snipers from house-tops prevented traffic across the bridge, thus isolating the East station and the Post Office from the foreign areas on the right bank of the Hai Ho.

Fifty Japanese wounded from the East station this afternoon proceeded io the Russian Bund, opposite the junction of the British and French areas, and crossed the river by ferry, after which they went to the Japanese hospital.
