To the Editor of the "NortH-Curya Dairy News"
Smm,—In regards to Mr, Chapélain Director of Post's letter of September 1, I am sure that the public when all this trouble has calmed down will have plenty of praises for the wonderful services that his organization has performed during the crisis.
I feel it my duty to mention how the Deputy Commissioner Mr. De Gherardi, who, personally waited for me after working hours, and deliver-his own machine to Mr. Weeks of Tide Surveyors two parcels belonging to the owner of the Hollywood Shoe Store who was evacuating on the President Lincoln to Hongkong.
Never having met Mr. De. Gherordi, 1 was dumbfounded at such thoughtfulness and consideration on his part. I sincerely hope that he and the rest of the Posts will get rewarded in some way for the extra work that they have been doing for the people of Shanghai.
I am sure that this is only one of the thousands of such deeds that the Posts have done for the public. I wish to say that they deserve plenty of thanks for the wonderful work they are doing.
Hope you will publish this to help to give credit to those who deserve it Arrnur A. FINBERG.
