To the Editor of the "NortH-Cuma Dary News*
Sir,—Your correspondent Yours For Farmptay very justly directs attention to the valiant job performed by the Riverside staff of the Shunxhai Power Ca. in maintaining electrical service, and also the Shanghai Waterworks staff in supplying safe water toxmeet all quirements during the rent Shanghai "incident."
The writer (a member of one of the staffs mentioned) happened te be away on vacation during the "hottest" days, hence feels free to heartily endorse the sentiments so thoughtfully expressed concerning the two groups of "he-men" who, 1i~ cidentally, personally consider that they were simply performing their duty under rather trying circumstances.
