Marshal Chang Chung-chang, the former warlord of Shantung, who has been residing at Beppa for some time past, embarked at Shimonoseki this morning on his way to Korea for a visit.
Prior t6 sailing, the former Gov ernor of Shantung was met by Mr. Kao Fu, an emissary of Marshal Chang Hisueh-liang, who had arrived earlier from Dairen.
Mr. Kao Fu told newspaper. correspondents that the National Government proposes shortly to grant an amnesty to Marshal Chang Chungchang and to appoint him Commander of the Chahar border, defence army.—Reuter.
