The Ministry of Education has decided upon six measures for the relief of those students of the Northeastern University who are still, Peiping, These measures, transmitted to them through the Bureau of Social Alfairs of the Peiping Munlelpal Government, are—
L—Regular students of the North~ eastern University should proceed to the different colleges of the University in Sian (Shensi" or Kaifeng Honan) to continue their studies.
2—Those students now in Peiping who are completing their studies this Summer need not leave Peiping. A special examination for the graduate ing class will be" hold under the supervision of the Peiping Bureau of Social Affairs, 3—Those students who have been expelled from the University for unruly conduct, should they repent their past mistakes, will be reinstated in the University by the Ministry of Education on the recommendation of the University, 'Students of the Preparatory 'Class need not leave Peiping. examination for their graduation will be given' under the supervision of the Bureau of Social Affairs, 5—Those students now in Peiping who wish"to study in other univers sities in Peiping willie given certifeates of transfer by the Univers sity at Kaifeng, which will continue to inspect their records and give them allowances.
G—The books, apparatus and archives of the University in Peiping should be transferred to Kaifeng in
