A uniformed search party from the Bubbling Well Police Station, patrolling along Great Western Road, near Tunsin Road, at about 845 pin., with weapons drawn, made the arrest.
Three Chimese coming along the road were stopped by the search and were found to be in pos-Ivanoff, Captain Lobanoff, Lieut. session of an automatic pistol of Davidziea, Lieut. Kransnousoff, Sgt- large calibre, loaded, and a cartridge clip holding another seven rounds. Whether they hoped to get past the search party without being spotted, or whether they realised that they were outnumbered, is not known, but they offered no resistance and are now under lock and key.
