LeRoy "Bud" Parmelee, mainstay of the Cardinal hurling staff last year, went to the mound for the Cubs to-day, and Lon Warneke, former idol of the Cubs, started pitching for St. Louis. Neither man stayed, however, the Cubs using three relief pitchers and the Cardinals two.
