Sir George Liked

Coronet with boy up did his mile in 2.27. last quarter 32. Houdini with Raymond riding was in company and did his mile in 2.26.2, finishing strongly with his last quarter in 322, Sir George was given one mile with White Jubilee both having boys up. They started off slowly taking 41 over the first quarter; then quickened up by doing the full mile in 2.20, their last % mile being done it 139, last half 1.03.2, and last quarter 314, Sir George finished on a tight rein some two lengths ahead of White Jubilee.

The Swan ridden by C. Encarnacao went 1% mile with The Gander boy up. They started off steadily doing the first quarter in 38.1, to cover the 1% mile in 2552, last quarter 322, I liked the finish of both Sir George and Vintage Morn, better than any of the other likely starters in Saturday's race, which I saw out yesterday.

The race promises to be an interesting one and well worth taking a run down to Kiangwan to see.
