Withdrawal From East

Senator Lynn J. Frazier, Repub-lion of North Dakota, meanwhile introduced a bill requiring the withdrawal of all nationals, troops and naval vessels from war zones in the Eastern hemisphere.

"We don't want another Panay incident," Senator Frazier said. "If we are really interested in avoiding war, the best way is to get out of places where there is fighting."

Senator M. M. Logan, Democrat of Kentucky, in a speech on the floor urged enactment of the naval bill as a safeguard against dictatorships. He charged that "Japan hates Christianity and has always maintained a malicious attitude toward those who believed in the doctrine.

Japan is now a nation gone mad and is now taking over China. When the task is completed one-faird of the earth's population will be haters of Christianity."—United Press.
