Kissing Under the Mistletoe

Police Tell of New Year Party Drinks

Admissions that they joined in kissing under the mistletoe were made by two police officers describing at Folkestone Jan. 21 how they attended a New Year's Eve party at Lister's Club, Sandgate, and paid for drinks all evening, states the "Daily Express."

The ofücers, Constables Hall and Dearden, went to the party after Edwin Lister, secretary of the club, had written to the chief constable saying the party was to celebrate the birthday of one of his daughters and the engagement of another.

They wore evening dress and stayed from 9.40 p.m. to 2.55 a.m.
