Fur {ther evacuations will be made accord-jing to the programme. Meanwhile, ithe arrival of reinforcements having [brought relief to the Volunteers, the [Settlement is being subjected to the process of consolidation. Anxiety is diminished by the reduction of the Jnumber of the women, for the task of equipping the various organiza~ tions to meet the' strain now imposed jon them is thus greatly simplified, both material and psychologically.
