'This morning's Japanese radio broadcast claiming the destruction of facrodromes. and a large number of 'Chinese aeroplanes in the' vicinity of Nanking appears to be largely T accompanied a party of Anglo-American naval and military officials, fon.a tour of inspection of military alrfelds both at the Ming Palace in the city and at Chuyung, 25 miles distant." At the city airfield three bombs were dropped hitting the workshop and one: machine which was on the ground under repair.
